The Diamond Sutra is one of the sutras from the “Prajnaparamita” or “Perfection of Wisdom” literature. It is one of the most influential sutras in the Mahayana tradition. The title refers to the power of the vajra (diamond) to cut things, as a metaphor for the wisdom that cuts and shatters illusions to attain ultimate reality. In this morning service, Venerable Jian Xin will be sharing on the essence of the Diamond Sutra, especially the practice of non-attachment.

“All phenomena are like a dream, an illusion, a bubble and a shadow; like dew and lightning. Thus should you meditate upon them.” ~ The Diamond Sutra
